Crook company, bad customer service, CC dispute filed
We filed a dispute charge with credit card company today. This is a crook company. Similar additional complaints on bbb. We echoed 2 previous negative reviews: manufacturing problem & horrid customer service people. Take a risk and suffer the consequences, as we did.
Ordered on December 3 online; had to chase up on December 6 with a phone call and turned out nothing had been in process over the previous 3 days! Were told the order was in production via email that same day and scheduled to ship on December 19. Followed up again with emaill on December 15 just to make sure; voila, there's been a delay shipping pushed to December 20. Fine, no problem. But on December 18 got an email stating the material was unavailable even though they had told us it was under production back on December 6 and then again on December 16, just 2 days prior to shipping. You cannot trust this company. Credit card charged half a month ago on the day the order was placed and then half a month later they tell you: manufacturer doesn't have the product!!??
Spoke to Remai the first time round on December 20 to ask to speak with a manager. She kept delaying us with a "i can't be bothered" attitude and then under our insistence on speaking with someone higher up, eventually she said: there's no one today. We asked incredulously: not even one single supervisor on duty? She said: No. All the while she gave the impression: you tell me what's wrong and then i will transfer you. She didn't even bother to look at the order details or our previous email communications with customer service after asking for order number. And then she asked: what's wrong with it? We said: if you didn't want to take a look at it, why did you ask for our order in the beginning when we asked to speak with a manager? We did ask for a manager to handle it from the very beginning. And if you didn't want to deal with our order, why are you asking what is wrong with it? What are you playing at? We demanded to speak with a manager repeatedly. Then while still in the conversation, she hung up. The call went dead. We called in a 2nd time right away and spoke with a different rep, who actually left her desk and went to look for a manager, unlike Remai, who didn't even PRETEND to look for one. But she came back the same answer: no manager present. We called in a 3rd time and it was Remai again and her explanation for sudden hangup was: the call was disconnected. Its up to you whether to believe her. We don't, given her attempts trying to brush us off and to prevent/delay us from speaking with someone higher up.
The first line cs agents do not have authority to do anything for you if something goes wrong. They defer that decision to one of the "managers". Good luck if you can actually speak to one. We only got a voice message after repeated attempts today. Even when we returned a voice message call, there's no manager available. "He went home" was the answer. No one accountable, in short.
